Irreversible Photochromic Material
A. Principle
By using microencapsulation technology, the special photochromic dyes are encapsulated and made into pigments.
When exposed to UV rays, the pigments will be irradiated and accumulates energy, then the color changes from colorless to coloration gradually and irreversibly.

D. Notice:
1. The lighting in the processing environment should be below 500nm (such as photolithography room or indirect illumination) to prevent irreversible coloration.
2. Avoid using UV drying and exceed 130°C hot-air drying.
3. The materials and products should be packaged in opaque black bags to avoid direct exposure to the light.
4. It’s recommended to use neutral or slightly alkaline resins.
5. The pigments will only show slight coloration if exposed to insufficient UV energy. After placing for a while, the color will gradually revert to colorless.
