Technology R&D

  The Company's main business is the manufacture of special functional materials. In order to provide customers with more functional materials and more appropriate material application technologies, we invest an average of 0.5 capital per year in material improvement and development and application technology development. In response to the policy of staying in Taiwan, the R&D department is located in the Taipei headquarters, and the R&D manpower is about 30% of the staff in Taiwan. Our R&D partners include corporations and schools. Such as: Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Textile Center, Tsinghua University, Chaoyang University, Tamkang University...etc.

  Meanwhile, with the support of the Small and Medium Enterprises Division of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the SBIR program of state subsidies is implemented. For example, the " Technology and Application Development of Highly Functional Photopolymer Encapsulation Products", which was just completed in 2003, has yielded great results. In addition to developing high-temperature-resistant photopolymer raw materials and expanding the color palette, the company has also successfully produced photo-denatured yarns of PET and Nylon, which breaks through the restriction that photo-denatured yarns can only be used in PP, and has greatly enhanced the use and market of photo-denatured products for textile applications.

  In addition, since October 2003, we have been working on the "NTU Anti-Fragmentation No. 1 New Process and Application Technology Development" to develop a cheaper synthesis technology for NTU Anti-Fragmentation No. 1 (8-hydroxy octanic acid (HOA)).

  In 2016, we were honored to successfully develop memory-type thermochromic materials. This material has a special temperature range and can be used in stationery ink as an erasable pen ink.

  With the advancement of technology, we made another breakthrough in 2022 and develop a new type of shell material. This shell material is characterized by being completely formaldehyde-free, further improving the safety and environmental protection of our thermochromic materials. This innovation not only meets modern people's needs for health and environmental protection, but also opens up broader possibilities for future applications.

  Our company is never satisfied with being the first in Taiwan and Asia, but with strong R&D strength and aggressive attitude, we will stride forward to the goal of being the world's first functional material provider.
