Fragrance Microcapsule Material

A. Principle

Through microencapsulation technology, fragrance is preserved in microcapsules. The fragrance scent is released via pressure, friction, heat or natural diffusion from microcapsules.

D. Notice:

1. Choose inks and coatings with milder odors to avoid strong smells that may affect the scent.

2. It’s normal phenomenon the slurry clumps up, if it occurs, please double boil the slurry at 45°C, and stir gently until uniform before using.

3. Processing temperature should not exceed 140°C, and avoid to heat or bake for a long time. These may cause fragrance in the microcapsules evaporated massively.

4. In plastic application, it’s recommended to use low-temperature polymers such as EVA, PU and others.

5. When applied in oil-based (solvent-based) inks, it’s recommended to print promptly to avoid the solvent dissolves out the fragrance.
